Once again a new School Year has started, hopefully everyone had a pleasant summer!  We had some great events over the break; Day Camp, Swing Around Fun Town, Bowling, Soap Box Derby, and Swimming.  Unfortunately due to Mother Nature, our Summer Picnic had to be cancelled.  We are unable to reschedule the event due to reservation conflicts at the Park with the Pavilion.  I know that weekend was eventful for all, like our yards we must clean up and keep moving on.  Their are many great events we are planning at the Pack Level in the upcoming months, the year is moving along and so must we all.

Now looking forward, please add these dates to your calendars for some great Pack Events:

• Manchester Homecoming Parade September 10th @ 8:00 AM

• First Pack Meeting: September 22nd @ 7:00 P.M. @ Sorrento

• Parkway South Homecoming Parade September 30

• Fall Family Camp: October 14th and 15th @ Meramec State Park

• Second Pack Meeting: October 21st Akelas Ring @ Beaumont
                   (Date on this is subject to change.)

• Scouting for Food: Bag out Day November 12th
                            Bag collection November 19th

• Third Pack Meeting: November 18th Movie Night @ Sorrento

• Cookie Sales at Parkway South Craft Fair December 3rd

• Fourth Pack Meeting: December 16th Christmas Caroling

Along with all of these events, their will be many more activities and outings at the Den Level.

To Our Parents, Teachers and Visitors, please remember that our leaders volunteer a lot of time into planning and coordinating the boys events and activities.  Our door is always open for others to assist in making the Scouting Adventure a Memorable, Fun and overall Great Time.  Please remember to thank the leaders for all that they do, and if you would like to assist in any event, contact any of our staff and lend a hand.
